Harold Koopowitz , Bill Welch , Wilf Hall

Thanks Bob for starting a clever way to meet new folk.

Wilf Hall had a great trip to Nashville for the Fall Convention 2012. You all gave him a great time and he is still talking enthusiastically about the fabulous time he had. When Harold was helping Wilf arrange his itinerary, Wilf mentioned that he would like to meet Bill Welch , another very clever tazetta breeder, if at all possible. Harold, hosting both Wilf and Lawrence Trevanion, made all the arrangements, and, along with Steve , they all had a great day inspecting Bills amazing fields of tazettas .

This is a great chance to see some of the great breeders of the 21 st Century .
When I was first introduced to Daffodils , many moons ago in the 1960’s , Divisions 5 – 13 were commonly referred to as the ” rats and mice ” and were given little attention by the serious exhibitors or by the judges.
These 4 hybridists have raised the bar considerably with many beautiful tazettas , jonquillas and miniatures in all styles and an increasing colour range . I have pursued Wilf for these photos since his return and hearing of his enjoyable tour. Thanks Steve H for capturing them all in one place, probably a unique occassion to get these great minds together.
