This is V04-126-9 a Miniature 5Y-Y. The flowers are highly fragrant with three, four or five flowers per stem. It is a cross of: [(N. fernandesii x N. assoanus) x N. triandrus var. triandrus]. This style of cross (Jonquilla x Triandrus) has yielded ‘April Tears’, ‘Angel’s Breath’, ‘Angel’s Whisper’, ‘Mary Plumstead’, etc.
This Selection is pale, soft yellow in the perianth (almost white) and mid yellow in the cup. Smooth and refined with nice substance. Possibly its biggest virtues are true hybrid vigor and unusual earliness. It blooms outside here at Season 1-2 unlike others of this style which bloom much later in the season.
