A few more that are blooming early .
The first yellow trumpet for many seasons has been JFM 96 – 12 .
Rather scruffy by show form but consistently early , good stems and a good flower rate .
It is bulking up steadily and will be a very useful early market cutflower .Opens well from bud .
As we have a comparatively mild winter , the early Sol D,Or often set seed naturally .
Many seasons ago I flowers a group of Sol O P and still have a few in the garden .
None can match the true Sol,s for strong colours but all have that great fragrance .
