The Riccarton Show was held on 15th September. Entries in the open section were mostly from D and L Adams with better competition in the Amateur and Novice sections.
Best Trumpet was PR 83:11 entered by D & L Adams
The entry card was muddled
Best large cup and Best in Show was Impeccable entered by D & L Adams
Best Division 3 was Centrefold entered by Jack Inwood
This flower went on to take a premier in Christchurch a week later
Best Double was Kiwi Solstice entered by D & L Adams
A flower from the same row gained Best Double in Canberra on the same day
Jeanette Robb was over from Melbourne for a few weeks and gained best Amateur flower with this lovely bloom of Ohakune
