Unusually early and perfectly Intermediate in scale. This has flowers at 64mm (about 2 1/2″) in diameter and 9″ tall. The flowers are smooth and well balanced. Nice orange trumpet for such an early flower.

Now thats a good one Steve.
Steve,
How do you have them blooming when we in Coastal NC are still in the freezing mode? :-)
Clay
Thanks David and Clay.
Clay, the weather here in Oregon has been drier than normal and somewhat cooler. Only bad snow once this season which looks about average to me as far as bloom time. Lots of early Miniatures in flower outside now!
Steve
Steve,
Today it is 32% “F” and the high is expected to be 35% “F”. The TV weatherman said that it is about 30% colder than average for today. Next few days it will get into the 50’s. If so, my daffodils should keep up the good work as we only have 21 days to our show. If we had the show today, I would only have, “RES”, ‘Little Beauty’, ‘Flower Carpet’, and ‘February Gold’. and again some bulbocodiums that look frozen.
Clay
Clay I looked today and could not even find any “Snowdrops” coming up; let alone blooming as they usually do this time of year.
