This was the garden in 1933. The spice pinks had died out and had been replaced by concrete coping, no idea when. The little boxwoods are relatively young, no idea when they were planted. The center is a sundial. Can’t tell if the doubles are Telamonius Plenus/Van Sion or true Butter and Eggs. So close, and yet so far…
