My garden yesterday & today

Hi again,

Phyllis, the roof that I was on is not very steep, not a great deal of pitch to it.  My husband and I reroofed it a couple of years ago.  We now have to reroof the front part of our home and it will be a totaly different experience, VERY steep.  I have no fear of heights but I will be secured with ropes to do that roof. We are a very sure-footed, independent, self-sufficent & healthy couple.  We don’t want any accidents to change that.

Donna, it is my plan to document my garden with photographs taken from the roof every couple of weeks, for the rest of the growing season.  I think that it would be a great record to have.  I do consider my garden an oasis in the desert.  I grew up in Louisiana, so greenery is vital to my happiness.  I LOVE Utah, but I can’t imagine a world without my own calm Garden of Eden.

Bill, I am certainly glad that I don’t have your work ahead of me.  I went through that same thing about 18 years ago, when we lived in Tennessee.  Ice storms do horrible damage to the landscape.

Mary
