Van Sion D.JPG

Our part of Texas was settled in the 1830’s. Most settlers were given from 10,000 to 50,000 acres to homestead for little or no money paid for land at that time.
This is obviously all that is left of the original homestead on this farm. This entire county road has been divided up into 5<10 acre ranchettes or wanna be country folks.
Van Sion is one of those really variable blooms depending on the soil and climate for that particular year. Keith Kridler Mt. Pleasant, Texas
