My name is Vonnie Hannah, Greenhouse manager at Old Salem Museum and Gardens, located in Winston Salem NC. We have a site that is covered in heirloom bulbs, most are Narcissus. The owner passed with a map of locations but over the years, this is not completely accurate. We are looking for help from a local chapter that may help us ID some of these and preserve the collection or toss the ones that are not historically correct. Any advise you can offer, even a good suggestion for a reference book with introduction dates and clear photos or a website link. Using the photos that we have taken we may be able to separate into divisions to narrow down the species. Our Gardens are 1750 – 1850 and some fudging has probably been done over the years. We would really appreciate your input. Thank-you Vonnie Hannah Old Salem Horticulture 600 S Main Street Winston Salem NC 27101 336 721-7377
