Hi DaffNetters !
The SWODS show at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden was simply lovely this year. The weather was great and the Zoo abloom in tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, anemone and fragrant viburnum.
Participants from 5 states exhibited great flowers : Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, W. Virgnia and Missouri. All the exhibitors were in such good humor, it was a pleasure to be with them.
The small group that performed teardown: Mary Lou Gripshover, Bill Lee, Federica Lawlor, Liz Ragouzis, Tom Stettner, Frank Vonder Meulen, and my husband Paul, were all grinning and laughing. These were exhausted people, it had been a long weekend of work.
I know you all are enjoying Tom’s photos. I’m now on my third round of viewing and smiling from ear to ear at the memories of a lovely show. Wheel of Fortune nor dinner can compete! Thanks Tom!

Dear Linda,
Thank you for this view of your show beyond the flowers. I think you are saying that a really good show is greater than the sum of its blooms. I happen to agree. When the flowers are gone, I judge most shows on whether they were run efficiently with the least amount of tension and the greatest amount of laughter and camaraderie. Sounds like your show gets a blue ribbon on that. I wish I could have been there.

Thanks to all the people who worked to put this show together. It was great fun.
