Soluable Potash:  Several years ago I bought a small box of soluable potash from Mellingers to spray the daffodils after bloom.  Later was able to get a 50# bag for just a few dollars more but I lost the instructions for mixing it.  I think it is 0-0-60.  Does anyone know how much I should use per gallon?  does it work just as well to water the daffodils with it rather than spraying the foliage?

Weed control: the centipede and zoysia grass is choking out the daffodils. Also, other weeds and field grasses in the fields. I have sprayed roundup some when dormant but was wondering if anyone else has used roundup to kill all the weeds and grasses on dormant beds?  I sprayed an area last year where daffodils use to be, with the grass gone, three clumps popped up this year.

Thanks, Char
