Hello All,
It is that time again to ask all photographers who took photos in the Northern Hemisphere to please send me a copy. Today, in DaffSeek there are about the same number of photos as there are daffodil records, about 18,500. However, even now, more than half of the daffodils in DaffSeek do not have photos!
I would like to thank a couple of people who have already sent us many photos this spring. The Netherlands must have had several rainy days because both Carlos van der Veek and Hein Meeuwissen sent many photos directly to us this spring. Thank you both! Brenda Lyon of Australia sent 2,000 photos which we are still working on. Thank you for such an undertaking! We appreciate and thank all the daffodil show photographers who contribute their photos to Daffnet and also send me copies upon request. A special thank you to those of you who sent your photos directly to my personal email account or who mailed us a CD or DVD! You know who you are!!! :-)
DaffSeek’s launch in 2006 had 7,600 photos and now this quantity has more than doubled. Ben and I are grateful that Kathleen Simpson volunteered to help with DaffSeek photos. She has taken on a job that requires much patience and dedication and we are very appreciative. Thank you Kathleen!
If you have not sent us your 2009 photos, please consider sending these either by email or if there is a large quantity, mail a CD, DVD, or memory stick to:
