The ADS has had photography sections at its national show for several years, and the Wells Knierem Ribbon for the best photo honors the late Wells Knierem who took many slide pictures of daffodils and donated them to the ADS slide archive. The winning photo was titled “The Night Before” and was entered by Stacey Tigner. Stacey was not at the show but is the daughter of Peggy Tigner of Brownsville, Oregon who is an ADS member and who attended the show. Presumably the picture is of the final harvest of daffodils for a show the next day. The attachment is not of the image that was printed but my photo of the print that was on display. Because I did not hold my camera absolutely parallel to the print, I had to crop my picture slightly. It is also a slight angle off from the print.
