Murphys Show – Rose Ribbon winner

I forgot to mention in my previous posting that the national show was held in the little town of Murphys in the gold mining region of the Sierra mountains of California – hence the subject “Murphys Show”.
The Rose Ribbon is for the best standard seedling exhibited by its originator. The originator is the person who first flowered the cultivar and is usually (but not necessarily) the person who hybridized the cultivar. The ADS Challenge section and Container Grown section are excluded on the basis that they may be grown in green houses (glass houses) and would have an unfair advantage over other standard seedlings which must be grown outdoors. The winning flower is seedling V91-30-9 1Y-Y exhibited by Steve Vinisky.
