This little seedling opened yesterday, first bloom on a cross of a tall, sturdy form of N. jonquilla x N. scaberulus. The bloom is just under 3/4 inch in diameter, and only one on the stem. It looks like it might be pure jonquilla, but I don’t get a strong jonquilla scent from it. The foliage looks like jonquilla. It would be nice if in succeeding years it might have more blooms on the stem. I wouldn’t mind a bit if it had 4, or 5 blooms on the stem. :-)
