A little season update from central Ohio. As were the narcissus, everything else remains early and vigorous this year. The first daylilies opened today, and I picked the first almost ripe black raspberry and mulberry yesterday. The elderberry is in full bloom (photo) as are the chestnut trees, wild pinks and many others. My daffodils fields are mostly covered in daisies (Bellis perennis) in their thousands.
