Greeting everyone.
The Christhurch show was held yesterday and despite all the doom and gloom around the recent earthquake there were some good flowers put up. The judging panel included Harold Koopowitz and his friend who’s name escapes me, along with Pearl Speyer.
Champion Bloom was a very nice New Penny exhibited by a one armed Aaron Russ ( Doesn’t pay to play to vigorously with your dog)
Runner up was Gympie shown by Malroze.
It was also nice to see Jeanette Robb gaining a premier bloom with a good example of Pink Silk after all the damage she and her husband have had to their property.
