Friends, sadly I inform you of the death on 22 OCT of longtime ADS member, Mr. Lee Raden of Phoenixville, PA. Lee had been an ADS member since 1988. He was an accomplished horticulturalist and a Past President of the North American Rock Garden Society. ADS member, Kathy Andersen, also of Phoenixville, PA, told me that Lee often wonthe best daffodil entry in the Philadelphia Flower Show, and was an incredible exhibitor of pots of species daffodils, which he had grown from seed. He received awards from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for service over many years.
