I thought I’d post a single photo before bed tonight as a teaser until I can edit and get all the other photos of the winners ready in the next few days. This is the Winning collection of 5 New Zealand bred Daffodils. Exhibited by Kirby Fong. I thought that the Kiwis might like to see this as a possible small piece of enjoyment as they try to get back on their feet from their earthquake. It seems that I lost my notebook where I recorded the flower names for each winner, but you can see a few of the name tags in this photo.

Thanks for being so thoughtful! Yes, we continue to worry about our friends in Christchurch and hope that the aftershocks abate soon. It is good to know that our daffodil friends there were relatively unaffected and that the South Island National Daffodil Show will still be held there this year. Kiwis are resilient! And rest assured that the World Daffodil Convention is still on target and will be a GREAT event. We look forward to giving our visitors a warm welcome and a wonderful experience.
