Curious Quilling

Thought that this close to Miniature daffodil flower was “interesting”. The perianth segments are strongly incurved along the edges and are really quilled in form. Perhaps with the right double pollen to double the petal count, we might have cactus dahlia style flowered daffodils.

  1. Nice, Steve. Very nice! I would love to incorporate this characteristic into the standards… imagine a stout double with these as the petaloid segments, with broad and flat coronal segments of a contrasting color…. Oh! ;-)
