Most shows that I know of have a local challnge class that call for limited number of specified cultivars that can be put in the show and the very best of these is awarded the challenge ribbon, this is NOT an ADS award, but it’s good to see what different societies do around the country.
The winner of this award for this show was Southern Hospitality, a 4Y-R flower that has been proven good for the southern regions. Exhibited by Nancy Robinson
