A New PInk Seedling – The Rim

Hi Linda,

The rim is pink but a much lighter pink than the base. I would bet that in warmer climates it may pass to white or whiteish. It seems very reminiscent of its pollen parent in that regard (John Pearson’s excellent ‘Fine Romance’ is the pollen parent).

    Yes, ‘Fine Romance’ has a band of pale pink at the cup brim, which came from its parent ‘Romance’, but it never goes completely white.  Congratulations!  You have bred a lovely flower.
