Chriss,
I have to disagree with you… the corona looks a bit expanded in this image, but mine on the farm looked the same this season. My flowers weren’t as tight, and the colors were very washed out (due to our heat). Even without seeing the whole plant in Hein’s image, the position of the flower well above the foliage and the extended neck are indicative of the real deal…
Daffodil season has been shortened here this year, due to our temperature extremes, but in many ways it has been the season ever… vigor and size were extraordinary, and colors on flowers that opened during cool periods were exceptional. ‘Magician’ and ‘Amadeus’ were actually red this year… I’ve only seen that a couple of times, once about six years ago and the other in 2000, in Oregon! J
All the best,
Jason

I have to agree with Hein and Jason as well. Using the background of the field and the shape of the boom along with the color, it looks just what I would expect Brooke Ager to look like. There are several photos on daffseek that are all acurate depictions of the cultivar and it seems that Heins image would fit those images as shown from the photos orientation.
