That would be my lovely wife, Melissa Reading, who has traveled from California to be Brian’s apprentice this week. Tuesday evening they will return to Belfast to get ready for the main Belfast show in Barnett’s Demesne on Saturday and Sunday.

Today I had the privilege of judging a few classes with her, after which she was one of the five man/woman team which chose the Best Blooms in show. Attached Melissa and the Best Bloom in show ‘Subtle Shades’ shown by Nial Watson. More pictures will follow but tomorrow to Harrogate for the Northern Group show with its 50,000+ visitors.
