Southern tornado tragedies

The closest that a tornado came to my residence was about 75 miles to the north.  I was at the grocery store today, and the headline on the Macon Telegraph newspaper was so very sad.  It read, “THE WIND BLEW MOMMY AWAY”.  EMS and 1st responders found a dazed 8 year old girl, wandering around alone, near what had been her residence in Spalding County, GA.  The quote was what she said when she was approached.  Her adoptive parents were both killed in the storm.  I found that heartbreaking and could not read anymore.

  1. I don’t know what more there is to say.  Just heartbreaking.
