Subject: Daffodil Cloud Planting Instructions
Is there someone in the society who could help me remember where I read this? It might have been quite an old publication.
Some years ago a read in a book the mathematical rules for attractively planting a naturalized meadow or hill side. The article talked of lines and proportions either side of radial/horizontal lines in order to achieve a natural cloud affect. The article was quite exacting with different percentages here and there.
The article also talked of casting the bulbs and planting them were they fell but explained that the humans doing the planting just could not help themselves but put the bulbs in rows and then would loose a percentage in the grass.
If anyone knows of what and where I read this insightful information and would love to rediscover it.

I'd like to hear if anyone has the answer to this. Would you respond to the listserv?
Thanks,
Lynn
