DaffSeek Photo and Info Update

Dear DaffNetters,

Thank you for responding to our request to help populate DaffSeek for daffodils that were without photos.  Many of you found daffodils on these spreadsheets where you had a photograph and graciously sent it to us.  Once the 2011 Southern Hemisphere daffodil season is over and we have added all photos from Down Under photographers,  these lists will be updated and posted again.

Thanks to Brent and Becky Heath and the ADS Historics Committee, namely Paul Botting, the first installment of the Heath Family Archives is now in DaffSeek.  This collection consists of photographs taken by Brent’s father of Division 1 daffodils.  If you would like to look at just these photos, click on the “Expanded Menu” at the top of DaffSeek’s query screen and enter “Heath” into the photographer box.  Select  “Heath Family Archives.”  from the two Heath photographers..

Lastly, we appreciate the hybridizers, registrants, historians and others for providing us with fertility information, descriptions and stories about daffodils.  This type of information, along with all the beautiful photos, has made DaffSeek the “Go To” daffodil resource that it has become.

For those of you who would like to send us your 2011 Spring photos, please either email these to me or mail a CD or DVD to:

Ben and I are looking forward to seeing photos of the blooms from our friends Down Under!

All Our Best,

Nancy and Ben
