I’ve been scanning old Calvert catalogs from the ADS files and wondered about all the Brodie cultivars that have Cornish names.
Was there a family relationship between Calvert and Brodie? Or just a business relationship where Calvert bought Brodie stocks and grew them on to sell?
And I wonder if Brodie named all those ‘Coverack…’ flowers or whether Calvert named them.
Anyone know?
