Hello All,
Today’s topic of Naked Ladies is very informative. Ben and I bought our home 27 years ago and found these flowers everywhere around the house. We discovered our little 80 year-young neighbor planted this variety throughout the neighborhood. Since we were next door, I believe she gave us a larger gift-planting!
Speaking from a simple gardener’s perspective, the foliage is wonderfully thick in the winter and keeps the weeds down and in late July/early August we enjoy these wonderful pink flowers popping out of the dry hillside! We’ve had the pleasure of seeing some of Bill’s Welch’s collection and these are breath-taking!
