ADS Fall Board Meeting (FBM) and Symposium, Daffodils: A Trail Through History

 

It has come to my attention, that celebrity chef, Emeril Lagasse, has a television show that features him visiting unique eateries in cities across the US. Last night’s show featured Atlanta, and one of the three “institutions” Emeril visited was Mary Mac’s. We will have dinner at Mary Mac’s on FRI evening. So get ready to put some South in Yo’ Mouth. I have made special arrangements with Mary Mac’s for their customary treatment of “Yankees”… which is a back rub.

    Mary and I are so sad to miss the upcoming Board meeting and the trip to Hotlanta. We will continue our wonderful summer which commenced with the spring daff activities in Jackson and Chicago and which wraps up with a long scheduled long trip with gardening and walking friends here in Kildeer. The FBM has become a part of our annual calendar and we lament that we won’t be seeing familiar faces, enjoy being shown around Georgia gardens, sharing tales of daffodil adventures and personalities, and picking up a few choice bulbs for the next seasons. And,now, to learn that we will miss Southern coookin’ with a backrub. It’s too much!
    So enjoy yourselves, y’all, and we’ll look forward to the next time.
