Alec Gray’s ‘Arctic Morn’ 5W-W

This is Alec Gray’s ‘Arctic Morn’ a now quite rare 5W-W from pre-1949. It was removed from the A. D. S. Approved Miniatures List quite a while back. That seemed to be the “kiss of death” and it has all but disappeared from commerce. 

Probably is too big to be a Miniature but I still find it a lovely, petite N. triandrus hybrid. His 1953 catalog calls for it to have a “hint of pink” although I’ve not ever seen that here.

Posted because it’s not often seen.
