Livermore show – Premier Miniature Collection winner

The Premier Miniature Collection calls for 24 miniatures from at least 5 RHS divisions. Flowers in the winning exhibit are:

The exhibitors were Harold Koopowitz & Marilynn Howe. Miniatures fanciers should note how many division 2 and 11 seedlings there are. These are divisions that have few named cultivars. Notice also the pink and orange coronas – colors that are very scarce in miniature coronas. 02-X49 1W-YYP would have been notable as 1W-Y, but it also has a pink rim. This particular exhibit supports Bob Spotts’ remark that the Livermore show probably has the finest display of advances in miniature hybridizing of all the shows in the United States.
