This is V05-08-04 = [(Tanagra x Xana) x Cayenne]. It is clearly a Div. 2. I’d color code this particular clone as 2Y-Y. Flower diameter is 37 mm (about 1.45″). It grows under 6″ tall. The segment length is 16 mm and the corona length is 12 mm.
The late Ben Hager’s ‘Cayenne’ is a small and precise Intermediate with deep color. I’ve used it repeatedly as a parent with other Intermediates and with many different Miniatures. For me, the above was a large cross. There are a few other interesting siblings in the V05-04 cross that I’ll post as they begin to flower.
