The Northern California Daffodil Society held its second show of its season at Ironstone
Vineyards in Murphys, a former gold mining town in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains.
Unlike last year when a heavy snowfall caused the show to shut down Sunday morning,
we had moderate snow Saturday and today and were able to stay open the intended
duration.
The Gold Ribbon is for the best standard daffodil in the show, excluding standards in
the Historic section. The winner was Flintlock 2W-Y exhibited by Bob Spotts.
