V99-103-1-1Y-O-AThis is V99-103-1 which is a cross of [‘Wild Women’ x (‘Tuscarora’ x ‘Thunderhead’)] It is a Standard Daffodil measuring 105 mm in diameter. The true trumpet is 3 mm longer than the segment length. It has a deep orange trumpet color, almost electric satiny sheen to the glistening finish on the golden yellow segments, subtle precise form and earliness add up to a very refined early show flower.

    Very interesting cross. Steve, to get a good 1YO! Back in 2004 I made three selections from HitchHiker x Wild Women. We had them down for naming but they never made the final cut despite being early. We did, however have a lot of fun thinking up possible names!  I’m sure with your imagination and sense of humour (remember the bleeding eye!) you will come up with something spectacular.
