This is V97-80-31 = Gresham x Night Music. Lovely color value being a highly saturated clear soft pink. It has almost no salmon cast but seems to photograph that way. I also like the purity of white in the perianth.
I think it a gorgeous double flower however………. It has a POOR neck. Honestly, it has: a really horrible, brittle, pipe cleaner thin, swan like neck that doesn’t support a wet flower. The good news is that the flower does not lay in the row from a weak stem as the stem is strong and supports the crummy neck. The bad news is that the stupid neck is so brittle, the flower usually snaps off in modest wind and rain. I suppose that a marketing genius might call this a “self cleaning” flower that requires “absolutely NO deadheading”.
