Thanks to Ian, Drew, and Brent we have two names for our daffodil at Greenwood Gardens:
William Backhouse developed both 'Stella' and Conspicuus'
Brent and Ian think it is the later.
However, I agree with Drew. Since it clearly seems to be star-like, with very slender petals, I'm going with 'Stella'. Next season (given this very strange year we are having, they are finished for this season) I will have to take a ruler to measure cup and petal lengths…I was surprised to see it classified as division 2.
