Daffnetters,
Many of of you have requested and received your new password and logged into Daffnet.org. Some of you have published posts or commented on other members’ posts.
Just a reminder, there are many things you can see without logging into Daffnet. This list includes reading daily messages and comments and looking for something specific using the menu categories or the search features. However, if you plan to write a comment or make a new post, you will need to log into Daffnet.org.
Attached is the User Guide Chapter 3 which is about what you can do with your personal Daffnet account. For example, you can view all your draft and published messages as well as any photos or pdfs (media) you may have posted. It will tell you how to add a small photo (avator) to represent you on your posts and comments. You may have noticed the avatars on the messages authored by Becky Fox Matthews, Tom Stettner, Harold Koopowitz, Brian Duncan and one created just today by Henry Shejbal.
On Tuesday, Sept 4th, we entered a new phase of Daffnet where all messages and comments must be entered directly on the Daffnet.org forum. Emails will continue to be sent with links to the messages and comments posted on the forum.
Congratulations to the members who have posted photos! To “zoom in” or view a larger size of these photos, just mouse-click on any photo inside the message.
