We usually only catch up with Spud and Joy at the NationalShows
as in the other weekends they are great supporters of the Taranaki
circuit .It is always interesting to see a few of Spuds newer seedlings
and I caught these three at our late show .
3 W – YYO , — Eyeful ,
The first time I had seen this beaut , a real eyeful , — you could not
miss it .Not quite enough to list yet , but one to watch for .
Very clean white , great contrast to the very vibrant orange – red rim .
2 W – W , — White October .
The day after the show we had a fresh , late snowfall on most ranges ,
including Mt Ruapehu and Mt Taranaki .
A very late flower , good size , clean white , very useful .
1 Y – P , — Taneka
A big flower , easily measuring trumpet .Deeper yellows and pink than
many in this colour code .Again a late flower.
