While checking out some cultivars in Daffseek, I noted a change in showing whether a cultivar is fertile or not fertile. Instead, it shows times used as pod parent and pollen parent. Pull up descendants, and you have the option of checking on times they have been used as pod or pollen parents, as well as their pedigree all in one place.
This is more accurate information and useful to hybridizers as well as time saving. Again, Great job Ben and Nancy. Thanks so much for all you do for all daffodil growers.
Sincerly,
Larry
Given my recent discussion about the previous indication of fertility on Daffseek, I like this much better. Thanks for pointing this out, Larry. I had not been on there in a a few days.

Thank you Larry.
This is the first step we are taking in improving daffseek fertility display. We are planning more updates based on discussions with Harold Koopowitz which will display seedlings in descendants if the data is in Daffseek.. This does not mean we will start adding seedlings to Daffseek, just that we will display any that can be determined from the parent data.
