In my bed of miniature jonquil seedlings has appeared this extraordinary seedling. During the many years I have made crosses among my line of mini-jonquil seedlings – and gathered o.p. seed from them as well – I’d never had an all-white bloom. This one has nice form – perhaps the wind or an insect brought pollen from ‘Pico Blanco’ – the only white mini I grow. The bloom diameter is 30mm.
