I just got my NEW ADS Journal today. Great job by the way. Looks like the articles are getting longer than what was allowed a few years ago.
However, my comment was that the actions of the ADS Board named Williamsburg, VA as the tentative location of the 2015 ADS Convention! I had heard that rumor but did not know who, if any daffodil society or club was going to host the 2015 show. It’s just up the road from us in Northeast North Carolina. I’m not volunteering to run the show as we only have a couple real daffodil enthusiasts in our society. Surely not enough to hold a National Convention.
Another, however, with the WDS (metro Washington DC) located not too far away, Virginia Daffodil Society (Richmond), the Gloucester Daffodil Show out of the Gloucester, VA Garden Club and our small group, I think Williamsburg is a great location. I think a little help from all these Daffodil Societies we could have a great show in Williamsburg.
Would someone let me know who is sponsoring the 2015 ADS National Convention? I may be willing to help but not sponsor the show.
