Two years ago, I dug all the bulbs from one bed–or at least so I thought. This year there is lots of foliage of lots of varieties, but not much bloom. Found this one today. It’s a nice flower, and I’d like to put a name to it. It looks to be a 3 W-Y (though I didn’t measure), and I wonder if anyone can help with a name. It’s late season here.
Could this be “Evesham”?
I looked at all my old planting charts, and couldn’t find that ‘Evesham’ was ever planted in this bed. So far, I’m going with ‘Alberni Beauty’, an old cultivar. But I’m still going over the list of things that were planted there to see if there’s something that look more likely.
Thanks for the suggestion.
