I contacted the Society a couple of years ago to see if daffodils grew in the Phoenix area. One member had moved to Tucson and reported that her daffodils died. So I love a challenge and bought a few bulbs from Old House Gardens Heritage Bulbs. I figured if their bulbs have been around for a hundred years, they might survive the Phoenix climate. I planted a few Early Pearl and Trevithan in late fall, 2018. They survived Summer, 2019 and had beautiful blooms this last March. I would love to send you a couple of photos of their blooms. So, yes, daffodils can survive our summers of 115 degree temps, almost no humidity, (but need irrigation) and warm winters. Thanks for the challenge!
