  2. I got interested in this and looked up the production numbers for Tweety Bird. It is planted in a minuscule acreage (15/100 of an acre) and falling fast. I had assumed that it was from Brent or his father but to my surprise Tweety is a  Karel van der Veek hybrid of no posted origin.

    I was also surprised because 4 or 5 years ago we saw it planted lavishly at the Atlanta Botanic Gardens

    There is slightly more acreage of Peeping Tom grown to this day. Stocks are known for being somewhat virused. If you can find either I would take it. As groovy as Tweety bird is , and he was offered as a replacement for  Tommy , perhaps Peeping Tom is preferable. Singular architecture. I rest easy because my neighbor has a stock of Peeping Tom that his grandfather planted in the 1970’s , growing well outside the fence. It shows the same low grade virus infection.
