Friends, I am grateful to all for your rapid responses concerning any WED arrivals.
It was pointed out to me that you can arrive on THURS MAR 9th – and for many, this would work fine.
So I want to encourage all to please take out time to review the Schedule of Events on the ADS website, so that you can make an informed decision.

The input from a veteran Convention and National Show attendee was: ‘You may want to make it clear that only those attending the judging school or who have issues with their flights, need to arrive on Wednesday. I had to double check the schedule. It is still possible to enter design, horticulture, and photo and arrive on 3/9.’
Entries for HORT will close @ 8A on FRI MAR 10th. Entries for Design will close @ 9A. Photography Show entries will close @ 9A.
Many of you are arriving early to help with set up for the National Show/Standard Flower Show, and I am eternally grateful for your willingness to be so supportive.
I hope this input is helpful. So after considering all this, please let me know if you have decided to arrive on the 9th. There are plenty of available rooms on the 9th. Our problem was on the 8th. It is very difficult to guess how many rooms you need, so far in advance, when hotel contracts are negotiated.
Let me also take this opportunity to make sure everyone understands that the Convention runs thru SUN MAR 12th. SUNDAY is tour day and there will be a speaker that evening, and invitations to the ADS 2024 National Convention, and the 2024 World Daffodil Convention. I’ve known of many convention attendees that get confused on this, and they end up leaving a day early. Years back, many Conventions were held THURSDAY thru SATURDAY. But we had to adapt to get good hotel pricing, which occurs on weekends, not weekdays!
