The unfortunate delay by the printers of our December ADS Journal means you will not have seen my request for nominations to be sent to me for the Honors Committee to consider for the ADS Gold and Silver Awards. The usual deadline for nominations is January 1, but the committee will accept nominations this time until January 7, 2023. There’s no special form required; just email me directly at 
explaining why you think the person you name is worthy of the award. The Silver Medal is given for service to the ADS; the Gold Medal for creative work advancing daffodils. See the ADS website under “About the ADS” to see the list of previous recipients
