Friends, we are busily working on the ADS Convention, National Show, and National Daffodil Photography Show. We need your help, please!
We are requesting that you bring ALL your extra daffodil blooms so that we may utilize them for the following needs:
- Judging School
- daffodil blooms for use in the 36 floral creations in the Design Division of the Show
- Karen Cogar is staging a fabulous invitational exhibit that will showcase the 13 RHS Divisions for both standard and miniature daffodils. She aspires to show an example of every Division, and she will need your help to make that happen! She will need a lot of support to achieve her goal of exhibiting 13 miniatures. Some daffodils don’t grow well in the Southeast Region, so those of you that can grow DIV 4 and DIV 9 – Karen will need your blooms.
- Meal event table centerpieces
- Beautification of public spaces at the Ravinia Hotel
Please don’t think, ‘Well I won’t bother with taking my extras, because everyone else will.” Folks, if everyone thinks that way, we won’t have the blooms we need!
We have a dedicated person ready to receive your blooms you brought for this purpose ~ and your ‘hopefuls’ you didn’t enter into the Show. JoAnn Jones of Roswell, Georgia ~ has accepted the important task as the ‘Keeper of the Blooms’.
