Cotton balls and soft yarn to place the florets in the position a day or two before showing with their removal just before judging helps place the florets in the right position.  8’s are a domed presentation 7’s are outfacing the florets should look at the judges.  A cotton ball or firm soft object like a pencil eraser can help with the D shaped cups.  You do not remove the crease, but you can get a round shape by working on those cups with some help inside the cup.
