April 15-19 2024
World Daffodil Tour Holland
Day 1 Monday April 15
This day guests arrive from all over the planet. There is a free shuttle from the
airport to the van der Valk A4 Hotel, near the airport. The shuttle goes every 40
minutes. After you check in your room, the program is free for everyone. There
will be a host to welcome you.
Day 2 Tuesday April 16
After breakfast, the bus will leave for a 1 hour drive to the north of Holland.
The first stop will be at Fluwel, with Carlos van der Veek.
Lunch will be provided in their Land van Fluwel entertainmentpark.
After lunch the bus will leave for Jan Pennings nursery and the van Lierop
nursery, and return at the hotel around 6 pm.
A buffet dinner with many choices will be provided at the hotel. We will sit
in a separate area (the Soos) next to the buffet. Soft drinks, coffee, tea and
water are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included but will be
available at the bar on your room number account.
Day 3 Wednesday April 17
After breakfast, 8.15 am, the bus will leave for a short drive to Lisse to see Eric Breed‘s bulb
collection, and Hein Meeuwissen nearby in Voorhout.
Lunch will be offered by local growers.
After lunch the bus will bring us to the Keukenhof to see the famous gardens.
The bus will return at the hotel around 6 pm (a 15 minute drive).
We will have the same dinner arrangement.

Day 4 Thursday April 18
After breakfast, 8.15 am the bus will leave for a 30 minute drive
to Kennemerland area to visit Michiel de Waard (Flying Colours).
After that we drive to Jos Kuipers in Egmond.
Lunch will be offered by local growers.
After lunch a visit to the Hortus Bulborum, a garden of historic
bulbs in Limmen.
The bus will return at the hotel around 6 pm (a 30 minute drive).
We will have the same dinner arrangement.
Day 5 Friday April 19
Breakfast and checkout, the free shuttle to the airport will be available all day.
